Penguin - PTARMIGAN BOOKS Series


'PT' 1 - 9





Ptarmigan Books, named after the plump gamebird, was a series containing games, quizzes and puzzles for children. PT1 'Ask Me Another' was issued in July 1945, the last PT9 appeared in November 1947. The series was the idea of Hubert Phillips, who was the author/compiler of nearly all the books.
