PUFFIN CUT-OUT BOOKS

THIS PAGE 'PC' PC1 - PC11

Puffin Picture Books ('PP') which commenced in 1940 issued some cut-out model making books, the first being PP40 and PP41 Make Your Own Zoo and Make Your Own Farm, in January 1945; and later PP52 Paper Birds.

A separate series of PUFFIN CUT-OUT BOOKS was launched in December 1947. These books had a more substantial format. The first three PC1, PC2 and PC3 were of The Cotswold Village, by L. A. Dovey. Others which followed included those for use with toy theatres, including those made by Benjamin Pollok (a Victorian manufacturer of toy theatres).

In all, ten volumes of the Puffin Cut-Out Books series were published, the last being PC11 in October 1953
