PELICAN CLASSICS

THIS PAGE 'AC' AC1 - AC 32

This series began in September 1968 with the publication of AC1 The Origin of Species by Charles Darwin. However, with both 'Pelicans' and 'Classics' already existing - there was difficulty in estblishing a clear niche. By the early 1970's, with just over 20 books produced the series became less frequent and only about 30 titles were produced in total.
